Jessica & Trevor’s Walper Hotel Wedding

We had the privilege of meeting with Jessica & Trevor’s mothers last winter at the Kitchener Wedding show by The Wedding Ring. We had a great chat with them all about their plans to have a Walper Hotel, Kitchener wedding. Since Jessica & Trevor live in Winnipeg, they had some help from their family with planning their wedding day.

Jessica & Trevor chose the beautiful Walper Hotel in Kitchener as the backdrop for their wedding day. The Walper is a beautiful hotel that’s been around for more than 100 years. With beautiful ballrooms, and a great bar area, and tons of beautiful spots for photos, its an amazing, very sophisticated and stylish spot for a wedding! It’s also just around the corner from Victoria Park which is where Jessica & Trevor chose to have their formal wedding photos done.

Jessica chose to get ready at her parents home in Kitchener, and Trevor and the guys stayed at the Walper Hotel to get ready for the wedding, in one of their very cool and stylish suites. Everything about their wedding day was perfect and very well thought out! Especially when you consider that they planned the whole thing from thousands of miles away!

We did have one small hitch in their day though. The Waterloo Police showed up at the park and put the bride and groom in cuffs! 😂 It was an awesome moment! We were actually just walking into the park when we bumped into them. I had armloads of gear and had to quickly drop everything to grab the shot!
